Breakfast is an often neglected meal in most households. Most of us are just too busy sleeping to get up in a reasonable amount of time and have a proper breakfast. I love to be able to waken myslef up with a nice glass of fresh orange and some muesli, but sadly i can’t see ithappening in the near future – im too tired!

Anyway, whats all this breakfast chat got to do with clothes exactly? Well, there are some pretty nifty items of Breakfast wear out there. There are three essential elements for sartorial breakfast elegance.

1) A Brightly Colured Robe – Something along the lines of this Leopard print dressing gown from Peacocks would be ideal. Muted colours are not recommended, you need something bright and garish to lighten the morning mood.

Pyjama Party

After moaning and groaning recently about the cold, damp and generally miserable winter we have ahead of us (although it does provide a good excuse to go shopping) – we thought that today we would focus on the more enjoayble aspects of winter – the cosy nights in……….and long lies in the morning!

Of course, in order to fully immerse yourself in this experience you require some comfy nightwear. This is where the Pyjamas come in. I remember as a child being forced to wear pyjamas by my mother and to be honest i hated them! – they were impossible to get comfortable in and i couldn’t wait to pull them off – It didn’t help that they were about three sizes too big for me with a pretty horrendous maroon Paisley Pattern finish. So, until recently i had reverted to sleeping in a long t-shirt – however, the aforementioned burst of cold weather has rendered this mode of nightwear impractical – and forced me into the pyjama market for the first time in ages.

My principal discovery is that there are now a great variety of materials and designs available – Checks, Satin, Teddy Bear and Floral Pyjamas seem to prevalent in the most popular ladies pyjamas this winter. It’s no wonder that there has been a recent craze for wearing pyjamas to do the morning shop, and working from home in pyjamas (Hello, Lily Allen). Anyway, Here are some of my favourite Pjs.
